Snow Flurries

Adventure Club - skills development training

Having focussed on tactical skill development over the previous two weeks, the Adventure Club Sunday morning sea kayaking (today) used the sheltered conditions in Port Erin Bay to work on technical skills development.

a short spell of spectacular light during the session

Snow flurries throughout the session, yet not much evidence here of the F6/7 : )

A few images from sea kayaking with the Adventure Club, involving tactical decision making.
An inspirational backdrop to our classroom!

It puts the regular training (both indoors and on the sea) year-round, into practice : )

from Grassroots...

Junior Paddlesport - Isle of Man

Moments from our Junior Paddlesport program training sessions in January, at Western Swimming Pool, Peel (just captured a selection of the folk on the program)

Juniors progress through our skills development pathway, specifically designed for grassroots paddlesport on the Isle of Man.

Through paddlesport, students also learn essential life skills; Agility, Balance and Coordination, Real Risk Management, Water Safety & Awareness, Confidence, Resilience, Responsibility, Teamwork, Journeying... the foundations of Leadership and informed Decision Making.

We're back in the pool from Saturday 4th March, for both adults and junior paddlesport courses.

Catch you on the water soon!
