Island Kayak Record broken by John Willacy

The record time for the circumnavigation of the Isle of Man by sea kayak was smashed yesterday by Anglesey man John Willacy. Earlier in the summer John also laid down a blistering time from Anglesey North Coast to the Island in eight hours 21 minutes!

John set off yesterday morning at 6:15 am and texted in early evening to record his 12 hours thirty eight minutes time!! A massive congratulations!

John has passed us at Peel earlier whilst out with the group on their School Enrichment Week.
