Tynwald Day

Tynwald Day (our national day on the Isle of Man), was a great opportunity for family adventures.

Gorge Scrambling in the morning was terrific fun : )

A progressive journey up a scenic glen, with plenty of challenge for everyone who wanted it!
Gorge Scrambling is a combined rock and water activity, the perfect combination : )
Increasing the opportunity for challenge along the route, with options for different ability and desire.
Thanks to everyone for a great morning, look forward to seeing you all again : )

The bank holiday Friday had begun early... Seeing the team off at Laxey on their self-sufficient circumnavigation of the Isle of Man by sea kayak.
Meeting at 6am on the beach, with some nice surf rolling in to give the send-off a bit of excitement, the team trained very hard for this trip, in fully loaded kayaks...
We were thinking of them as we walked along to Tynwald Hill, taking an hour out during the afternoon, between sessions, catching up with a few folks on the green.

Family Evening Paddle

We rounded the day up with a sea kayak trip, heading North from Peel, Fenella Beach, round the Castle and doing some rock hopping in the double kayaks as well : )
A great way to finish a hot summer's day on the Isle of Man!
Look forward to seeing you all again soon, the next evening paddle with places is Thursday.
