A weekend of sun

It has been a terrifically active weekend here on the Isle of Man!

World Record Pilates session

Starting Saturday morning with a World Record number of folk enjoying Pilates at Knockaloe (just along the road from our base at Ballabrooie). Knockaloe farm became an internment camp in 1914, and Joseph Pilates use his time there effectively!

Hen Party Coasteering

Saturday afternoon kicked off with Nikki's Hen Party. A riot of hot sunshine, warm water (16 degrees) and all sorts of excitement!

Mylchreests Sea Kayaking Experience

Saturday late afternoon was a Corporate Sea Kayak Trip for Mylchreests (also the official sponsor of the Isle of Man Adventure Race taking place next Saturday).

Stag Party Coasteering

Whilst Keirron, Janet and Northy led the Sea Kayaking, Kim and Fergus led the Coasteering session for the Stag Party...

Sunset Evening Paddle

Sea Kayaking from Peel on Saturday evening was perfect...

 ...the sunset wasn't bad either : )

Sunday Adventure Club - Sea Kayaking

This morning's 9am session on the water at Peel was a sea kayak training session for the regular Adventure Club members, continuing on the themes we've been using in recent sessions.
Some real fundamental improvement is evident. A bit of fun to finish, challenging the swell in the rock gardens : )

Family Gorge Scrambling

This afternoon's family Gorge Scrambling adventure was at Glenmaye. The river was at a nice level and the air was warm.

Catch you on the water soon!
