Sunday's Adventure Club training sessions proved to be adventurous from the outset, with true diligence from coaches and students for making it to Port Erin, to begin the session. :)
Awaking to another overnight snowfall, we scheduled a slight delay to allow everyone to arrive, from various parts of the island...
A refresh on the beach, before splitting into two working groups - beginners and improvers with Jan and Becca, on a coastal exploration and the Intermediates (most of whom are gearing up for the BCU 3* Sea shortly) heading off to the Sound with Mike and myself.
Using the natural coastal features along the way, structured varied practice and individualisation was the aim of the day, culminating in wet skills in Port Erin bay. Gerry and Tony producing some dynamic rolling - the result of working hard in the indoor courses and transferring the core skills to the sea.
Congratulations!
