Youth to Uni

We had a get together with the Youth Scholarship team on Friday for a final Coasteering session before they leap into further education and work...
Sam heads for Aberystwyth University to study Sports Science
Tom is taking a gap year (including 6 months training in Canada) before taking General Engineering at Durham University
Emma begins an intensive Ski Instructors course at Xmas then continues the ski season in Canada
Mairi heads off to Newcastle University to study Business and English
Katia has begun her Art Foundation course at the Isle of Man College (and continues to paddle with the Adventure Club at weekends)
Fergus is relishing his trainee position with the Adventurous Experiences coaching team
Lucy heads up to York St John University to study Physical Education
Really great to see everyone stretching themselves on the session, having fun and moving onto the next stage in their successful journey through life...
I can't wait to see the whole team give their presentation of the Expedition to Vancouver Island, at Christmas time! Venue and date (open to the public) TBC...

 Evening Paddle

Friday evening paddle off Peel, with a group consisting mostly of teams from last year's Adventure Race... the girls were enthusiastically chatting about the 2013 Race

quote "that was the best event we have ever done"

really good to see how its inspired you to have more adventures!
Sam led this paddle as I split off with the training group to practice wet skills along the way : )
We look forward to seeing you all on the water again soon!
