It's great to be home

back on the Isle of Man enjoying our splendid mild weather and stunning coastline.
Sunday's paddles are always enjoyable, catching up with Adventure Club members...
and new students. taking in the close encounters with wildlife.
Very calm conditions as predicted, and mysterious sea fog patches, which gave a dramatic edge to the pictures yesterday!
Really good to hear how the coaches have been doing whilst I've been away with George on the Aleutians 2012 Expedition, everything seems to be running beautifully!
The seal pups put on a spectacular display in the Sound, cruising about the kayaks, observing the folk floating in them.
The Intermediate session (most of whom were dressed to get a little wet) also headed South from Port Erin Beach, and got straight on with some larking about in the brine!
As usual the coaches led by example, and got involved directly...
Can't wait to see you all on the water again soon.
