Coach Development

Coach Development in North Wales

Keirron, John and Kim headed over to North Wales for a few days coach development during the week. Eva-Lotta and Caoimhe joined us for Leadership Training on Anglesey in Penrhyn Mawr and out to the Scerries...

...on the way we called in at the factory to pick up Caoimhe's new SKUK 'Pilgrim Expedition' sea kayak and see the new green weave available in the carbon lay-up Celtic Paddles blades : )

Watching the sunset at South Stack Lighthouse

On our last day we headed off early for Llanberis, stopping for a vibrant sunrise

(and a full breakfast at Pete's Eats) then over to the Ogwen Valley to do the superb scramble up the north face of Tryfan.

Rounding off with an efficient drive back to Liverpool in time for our flight home!

A really fun few days with folk who are passionate about the outdoors : )

A farewell to John

John has decided to step down from his position as Operations Manager, a role he has held full time since June 2013. As Operations Manager his time was split between managing the day to day running of the business in the office and running sessions on the water. John will continue to remain a member of our coaching team over the next few months before taking an exciting change in direction next year.

John will certainly be missed by the whole team!

“It’s been more than just a job, a journey, challenging, fun and varied, but now feels the right time for me to move on. We’ve developed a great business over the years and I am looking forward to watching it continue to thrive.” John Keggin

Here's to many more adventures, on and off the water : )
