TT Week - Coasteering

...on the Isle of Man. Lots of smiling faces, happy places, exciting experiences...
Quite a few sessions running on the East Coast when the sea conditions denoted location..
traversing around the coastline, journeying, exploring and working as a team
stopping for a chat occasionally, giving a few more instructions or pointers
A Birthday Evening Paddle was very enjoyable too : )
Look forward to seeing you on the water soon.
Got the Isle of Man Adventure Race this weekend, so if your not competing or helping out, head to Peel and catch some of the action!

ps. on the way home I spied the steam train overhead...

Evening Paddle tonight

Just back from an easy paddle off Peel, on the West Coast of the Isle of Man.
A few Puffins about, the odd seal and some wonderful colours on and off the water...
The next scheduled Evening Paddle is Wednesday 20th June - 6:30pm from Peel, Fenella Beach.
See you then : )

It's great to be home

back on the Isle of Man enjoying our splendid mild weather and stunning coastline.
Sunday's paddles are always enjoyable, catching up with Adventure Club members...
and new students. taking in the close encounters with wildlife.
Very calm conditions as predicted, and mysterious sea fog patches, which gave a dramatic edge to the pictures yesterday!
Really good to hear how the coaches have been doing whilst I've been away with George on the Aleutians 2012 Expedition, everything seems to be running beautifully!
The seal pups put on a spectacular display in the Sound, cruising about the kayaks, observing the folk floating in them.
The Intermediate session (most of whom were dressed to get a little wet) also headed South from Port Erin Beach, and got straight on with some larking about in the brine!
As usual the coaches led by example, and got involved directly...
Can't wait to see you all on the water again soon.
