1st Evening Paddle of 2010!

'Putting in' as the sun dropped slowly over the Mountains of Mourne, across the water, the light was spectacular.

Alex came down to see us off.

An unexpected delight awaited us, the Spring tides revealed a new cave to explore, awesome!

Further down the coast I landed to take an occasional photo, with a river gushing through the rocky inter-tidal shoreline, till it joined joined the salty mass we call the Irish Sea, we set off again, paddling North beneath Peel Hill, with Corrin's Folly silhouetted on the skyline..

Landing at Fenella Beach, Peel, the bright light illuminating the castle, dazzling our night vision

Packing up and heading home along the central valley, a huge full moon appeared in the crescent ahead...

So ended up 'taking a turn' about the moonlit Tynwald Hill :)
