dawn chorus

The dawn chorus this morning was pretty intense, a mixture of songbirds (and cockerels).
Apart from being the first one I've heard in a while, it heralded a spectacular day on the water for us!
The Adventure Club training session this morning ran from Port St Mary, on the south east coast of the Isle of Man. Groundswell and associated conditions, without the wind!
The afternoon coaching session took place in sheltered conditions, working on balance and control, as well as manoeuvres along the rock gardens...
..plus a couple of pics prior to the early shots, before committing to the spring tide off the headlands, colliding with the swell to produce some bouncy conditions : )
A delightful day on the water, making best use of the break in the weather.
Catch you soon
